With all our attention focused on the COVID-19 outbreak, we are potentially overlooking the most threatening calamity of our generation – cyber addiction. The global pandemic is a trigger for this pre-existing crisis because virtual learning is only increasing the amount of time we spend glued to our screens. It is natural to expect increasing rates of screen time within adolescents and even children.
