Some people say they can recognize a ‘juicer’ at the greengrocer or at the local supermarket from the distance. How? Well, they are the ones who load large amounts of apples and carrots into their trolley. Additionally, they have that look of something like ‘I am so healthy’.

It is vital to consume food that is rich in enzymes. However, if you buy bottles or cartons of juice you are not getting your share of enzymes. Carton of juice are in most cases pasteurized, process during which enzymes are most likely destroyed.

On the other hand fresh juicing is great and healthy because fresh juice contains a high amount of vitamins, enzymes and minerals and they also have an incredible taste. Additionally, you have the freedom to choose your own ingredients in accordance to your current health requirements.

One final tip: before you add ginger into the juicer, squeeze it through a garlic press and simply mix it with the finished juice.
