Reduce Waist Size - 3 Best Ways Leading Towards A Thin Looking Waist

Having a reduced waist size has always been a dream and a fitness goal for men and women. It may be for men and women, but women are more particular with slim waist because they feel it is a need for them; a need to be fit and sexy at the same time. For most women, a small and sexy waist indicates fitness and most of all, difficulty wearing clothes is not a problem anymore. You see, almost everyone of us would love to have the best waist ever, which is why people mostly women try their very best to achieve a reduced and slim waist whatever it takes.

Basing on the health standards, 40 inches waist line for male and 35 inches for female are considered unhealthy and obese. If not for the society’s underestimation to obesity, people now are not finding so much ways to lose fat and forget their top priorities in life. Yes, reality is telling us that people fear becoming fat, which is why eating disorders have becoming common these days. The fitness world now increases gym workouts, diet pills, weight loss diet plans, expensive workout machines, etc. It may not be unusual to you that those who go to the gym focus primarily on working out their waist and abdomen.

Other than the tummy and lower arms, fats also are common to be stored in the waist.When you are sitting and accidentally you caught yourself in the mirror, you feel ashamed with your big proportion and your fatty waist, so as a response, you always have the mindset of doing abdominal crunches. But, abdominal exercises to lose weight is such a misconception.Fats cannot just be found in the specific area of the body such as your waist; it can be found anywhere in the body. For the basis of truth, you will learn it through the total body fat you have.

When you do everything that involves your waist, you are just toning and shaping your waist. If you really want to lose fats from your waist, you need to lose overall fats from your body and that is through proper diet and exercises. If you are just sincere of what you do, you are more likely to have a reduced waist size.

1. To have a sexy waist that you always wish for, one way you need to learn is the combination cardio session and weight training exercises. Your exercises can be a part of your daily routine. More so, if the exercises give you so much sweat every time you do the exercises, it only means that your exercises are effective in challenging you to lose weight. It is required that you cannot just maintain the intensity of the exercise for a long time; time will come that you need to increase your intensity for more effectiveness.

2.Do not procrastinate; do cardiovascular exercises today and not tomorrow or week after next. You can choose whether doing it at home or in the gym. The cardiovascular exercises are total body workouts that involve dancing, walking, swimming, tread milling, running, etc. Ideally, cardiovascular exercises must be done at least thrice a week within 30 minutes to 1 hour. One exercise you can do is also your resistance training to attain your goal. Below are some examples of resistance training exercises:

Teaser

Lie on your back on the floor with arms on the sides.

Keep your legs straight and immovable.

Slowly lift both arms above the head and at the same time, your legs are raised as well, thus fingers pointing the toes.

You need to exhale slowly and return to the starting position.

Do the steps again as long as you can tolerate it.

100’s

Lie down on your back in the floor.

Raise the legs while keeping them together.

Now slowly lift your head and shoulders from the ground with your hands over the thighs.

Contract your abs while lowering the legs and as you start again laying your back and arms on the floor.

Place your hands on the sides and pressed hands against the floor and breathe in and breathe out for 5 seconds.

Leg Circles

Lie flat on the floor on your back and then raise right leg as straight as possible up to the ceiling.

Your raised right leg move in circular motion, clockwise for 5 times and counterclockwise for another 5 times while contracting your abs.

Your leg should be moving during this exercise.

Repeat the steps on the other side/leg.

Tree Pose

Stand straight as if planted firmly into the ground while hands on sides.

Inhale while bending the right leg while the other leg is resting with sole of the feet flat on the floor.

You have to balance yourself; start pushing arms upwards over the head while the palms touch each other.

Without moving the hips, the bent right leg must move its knee back and hold in such position for a minute or so.

Repeat the exercise with the other leg; do it as long as you can.

Plank

Lie on the floor with your face facing the floor and elbows must be placed next into the chest.

Lift your body by elevating your elbows: Rest the body on the elbows and hands, and hold in that position.

Start contracting the abs and keep the body as straight as possible.

Hold such position as long as you can and then repeat the steps.

For balancing, toes can be used while elbows are up; but usually, for the beginners they can use their knees.

3. In every weight loss goal, diet is very important. As such, diet is essential to reduce waist size. Health experts said that what you are is what you eat and approximately 60% of weight loss or gain is attributed to it.

The most important thing to remember with diet is that it never allows starvation. By doing so, you are allowing your body to be dysfunctional because its needs are unmet. Metabolism and fat burning process are two functions of the body. As such, when the body is no longer able to perform its function, then fat burning process or metabolism will not occur or when it happens, its rate is at its lowest.

Eat completely: high protein, moderate carbohydrates and less fat. Lean meats are high in protein and so it can make you feel full longer, so less chance of overeating. Your carbohydrates give you the energy to keep you going, but eating in excess can be converted into fats. Other foods rich in carbohydrates are “white foods”, so it must be avoided; these are breads, pasta and rice. More over, your fat has an important role in the body because fat protects the body from any harmful elements; however, too much of it can increase your cholesterol level.

Eat on regular basis; divide 3 large meals into 5-6 smaller meals daily with 3 hours interval. The more you eat many times a day with smaller intake, your metabolism process of the body will speed up. Such eating pattern prevents you from overeating.

Rich sources of fiber may include berries, whole grains, sweet corn and green leafy vegetables, so eat more of those.
Avoid too much salt in the diet, such as your soy sauce and junked foods. Any excess salt in the diet can make you bloated because where salt goes, water follows.
Avoid high processed foods or preservatives such as canned goods.
Avoid sweets in the diet such as your chocolates, cakes, and candies.
Soft drinks must be avoided too.Drink more water instead, at least 6-8 glasses daily.
