End Times

John 14:29?“And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe.

When I read about the rich and famous people buying their own private islands or building their own elaborate fallout shelters or the politicians using our tax dollars to build fallout shelters dug into the side of a mountain stocked with everything needed to survive a nuclear war for many years. My question is what do these privileged people know that we average people don’t? I know the rich and famous are privy to inside information that the rest of us aren’t and I also know these rich people aren’t going to spend a tremendous amount of money unless they’re reasonably sure a nuclear war is on the horizon.

Here is an example of one of the articles I found on Google. “Nuclear fall out shelters dug out of the mountains, The extreme rich buying islands. And leading the charge is none other than Mark Zuckerberg, whose $270 million Hawaiian compound featuring multiple mansions and a 5,000 square foot underground shelter shows that for the billionaire class, the end of the world doesn’t have to mean the end of luxury.” What the rich man chooses to forget is where much is given, much is required. Luke 12:48, “But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.”

I have heard Bill Gates say the world is over populated for the resources available and the world of 8 billion people would be better off with only 1 billion people. When I hear all this am I worried? Not at all! God throughout the Bible has always taken His people out of the way before the judgement begins. Revelation 3:10. “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” When I hear of all this going on I can’t help thinking about Bible prophecy that talks about these things taking place at the end times.”

The Bible says it’s hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven. Why does the Bible say this? I believe it’s because the rich put their faith in their riches instead of putting their faith in God and they value their riches more important than people. The Bible says “without faith it is impossible to please God” Anytime anyone values their money more important than people they are running the risk of not obtaining salvation. We Can read this verse in Matthew 19:24, “And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” The Bible also says the rich man’s riches is his reward. Luke 6:24,“But woe to you who are rich, For you have received your consolation.” When this is all over we will be judged on how we treated people and if we accepted the free gift of salvation offered to us by Jesus Christ.

When the rich man finally realizes their money won’t save them from destruction it will be too late. Ezekiel 7:19, “They will throw their silver into the streets, And their gold will be like refuse; Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them In the day of the wrath of the Lord; They will not satisfy their souls, Nor fill their stomachs, Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.” We can also see this in Zephaniah 1:18, “Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them In the day of the Lord’s wrath; But the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy, For He will make speedy riddance Of all those who dwell in the land.”

I believe the world today is ripe for the start of the last seven years of time called the tribulation, This is going to be a terrible time on Earth to be alive. Here’s the verses describing the last seven years of tribulation at the end of time. Matthew 24:21-23, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” Isaiah 13:11-12, “I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty. I will make people scarcer than gold, more rare than the fine gold of Ophir.”

The Bible actually predicted almost two thousand years ago that in the last days men would actually be hiding in caves from the return of Jesus to the Earth. We read this in Revelation 6:15-17, “And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,  and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!  For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

The very rich might say, “If that is true, Then I will go buy my own island.” When Jesus returns with all His angels and with all His saints there won’t be anywhere to hide! Rev:16:20-21, “Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.  And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent (approx.66 lbs), Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.”

The Bible says that Jesus is coming to this planet to destroy those who destroy the Earth. The planet Earth is owned by Jesus. God in the beginning of time gave this planet to Adam and Eve. When Adam and Eve listened to Satan and had eaten the forbidden fruit they unknowingly gave this planet to Satan. When Satan had Jesus crucified ( a sinless man) Satan unknowingly gave this planet back to Jesus.

When Jesus sees people destroying His Planet, probably with nuclear bombs He is going to act fast. Here is one of many verses that talks about this. Revelation 11:18, “The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.” By this verse we can clearly see that a prelude to Christs’ return will be the destruction of the Earth. We also know the tribulation will start with God’s people taken off this planet, the man of sin (the anti-Christ) revealed and a major war with the man of sin leading the charge. ( Rev 6:1-4 )

I believe before the last seven years of tribulation starts Jesus is going to take His people off this planet and take them to Heaven for seven years while the tribulation is taking place here on the Earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

The people who have the Holy Spirit living inside of them will be the people Jesus takes off this planet. Romans 8:9, “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”

The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is responsible for holding back evil. When the Holy Spirit is removed, (along with God’s people) Satan and his forces will have nothing stopping them from doing all kinds of evil on planet Earth. We read this in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8, “And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

There is today a growing number of people who believe God’s people are responsible for the all the hatred and racism we see in this country. They are offended anytime they see a cross or a Bible verse anywhere in public and they go out of their way to get these religious symbols removed. Matthew 10:22, “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”

They have declared war on Christians and are trying to silence all Christians. Matthew 11:6, “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;.. John 15:19, “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” What most people don’t realize is when this country was considered a “Christian nation” God put His protection on us so our enemies couldn’t get to us. When we as a nation removed God out of our schools, government and public places we also unknowingly stopped God’s protection which left us vulnerable to our enemies attacks. God is going to respect the people’s wishes and remove all His people from this planet. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

Revelation 12:12, “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

I am writing this article to encourage Christians to hang on. We are going through many unfair attacks by our enemies and I want you to know that everything is going according to God’s plan and God says He is not going to lose anybody, and our reward is coming with Him! It won’t be long now! John 6:39, “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.
