The Russian Revolution, something celebrated frequently by the left, left 61 million people dead. It seems to me that if communism was really something that great, then no one should have died instituting it, in Russia or China. It should have been accepted peacefully as people would have seen the sense in it. However, anyone who disagreed was cut down.

Today the Left is again trying to impose its views on everyone. And again, anyone who refuses is being attacked, except you are more likely to lose your career or have your house spray-painted than to face the guillotine. You could end up like Baronelle Stutzman, Jack Philips, or the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, having their businesses lost or attacked. You could also end up like Mr. Kavanaugh or Mr. Trump with having your private lives being put under the daily searing heat of unfair criticism.

However, you could also lose your life today by saying, “no” to the Left. A young man was killed on June 20th and on Monday, the 29th of June a 16-year old was killed, both in the CHAZ/CHOP zone in Seattle, Washington after the Mayor said that it was going a “Summer of Love”. Those were two sons. Will ANTIFA or BLM start executing people? Who knows what will happen between now and November!

The thing that you can and should be confident in is when people start saying catchphrases like “Give peace a chance” (John Lennon) or “All you need is love” (John Lennon and the Beatles) or “No fascist USA” , they mean it and are willing to be violent. However, they mean it only as long as you only allow their definitions of all those terms or don’t try to call attention to when they are not being peaceful or are trying to impose their views on you in a dictatorial way. All you need is love, unless you disagree with them then they’ll call you a racist and loot your store!

The people during the of Jesus were hoping for a violent revolution too! Yet the King of Kings denied them that and because of that, many turned away from Jesus. I am thankful that Jesus did not deliver the Kingdom of God did that way. They thought that violence was justified in the Middle Ages when Catholics killed Protestants and some in more recent times have thought that shooting abortion clinic doctors is the way to bring about the Kingdom of God. I believe strongly that they were wrong!

There is one revolution that I agree with and that was the American Revolution! In that revolution and in the Constitution created afterwards, they acknowledged the Lord’s hand in their situation, something the French and the Communists did not do. I guess sometimes revolutions are necessary but if they are not from the Lord, they will surely and inevitably become reigns of terror.
