Women and Family: Learn to Live by Brad Weisman

I have noticed that so many people worry about their safety as it relates to personal security and their kids.

There is valid reason for this, however some of the precautions they take in the end are useless. Do you really think by turning off your location on your cell phone you are super safe…..do you think by not posting pictures of your kids you have made them safe…….??? Perhaps you need to stop living in a bubble and realize information is available all over the place and for like 30 bucks anyone with an internet connection can learn more about you than you know about yourself. I understand the idea of taking smart precautions……..and creating some barriers for privacy…….however, living in a bubble totally sucks!

The day the internet became part of all of our lives information became available almost immediately. People’s information gets sold every day that they sign up for something and now they are the product being sold. It is something like 20 bucks per person……so we are all worth 20 bucks these days. How cool is that……your email address is worth two crappy pizzas. Ya gotta love that:) In the end we all put are information out long ago and the internet has tugged away at it. The companies you purchase from and are loyal customers to have also played the game of using your information against you. However, there are some laws that protect you and I on how that information can be used or dispersed.

My end point is LIVE and stop becoming crazy with who knows what about you through facebook and other social media platforms. I urge you all to post how you feel about subjects….show pictures of your family……..because in the end leveraging social media is hardly living. Living is being outside……taking long walks……making new friends…..laughing when there is no need to laugh…..and smiling when you know it could make your day better than when it started. Stop living in a bubble and incase yourself in life….adventure……and break that silly bubble open. Better to have lived instead of disabling your identity and location. I agree the world can be dangerous, however dr don’t let it stop you from pulling the marrow out of life every day all day.
