Trump Visits Asia, Brexit Talks, OPEC: Week Ahead Nov. 6-11
(Bloomberg) —Donald Trump continues on his first official trip to Asia as president, accompanied by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and a group of U.S. business leaders. He’ll meet with the heads of state from Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines, and address the APEC chief executives summit.
The European Commission’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier and U.K. Brexit Secretary David Davis resume talks on the terms of Britain’s exit from the European Union.
U.S. consumer sentiment probably cooled in early November from a more than 13-year high, suggesting still-lofty optimism about the economy and personal finances. The University of Michigan’s report on Friday wraps up a light week for U.S. economic data that also includes figures on job openings in September.
