Devotional 10/19: A Question About Hillary For You!

I apologize that I do not have a real devotional available for you this week. However, recently, I have been thinking a lot about the upcoming election and the candidates. I have had a couple of huge questions on my mind that I was hoping to get some feedback on. The questions are where are people’s minds? And where is the outrage over the men murdered in Libya?

In September of 2012 the attack on the Libyan embassy left 4 dead, including an American ambassador. However, in the past (almost) four years, no one has been hunted, tried, convicted, or sentenced for their deaths. Am I missing something?

Obama says he is responsible for capturing and killing Osama Bin Laden. Yet no one has been captured in regards to this event. There was more outrage over what Kim Davis did than what these murderers. Kim Davis even went to jail!

According to CNN, attempts by Trey Gowdy (House Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman) to investigate the murders were met with many difficulties and roadblocks by the Obama administration. He described it as “pulling teeth”. Even Hillary Clinton has been dismissing it. And Hillary wants to be Commander-In-Chief! In a recent video, Hillary Clinton laughed at the Benghazi hearing. Granted Mrs. Clinton was laughing at what she perceived to be a sexual innuendo but certainly, it was inappropriate when they are discussing the deaths of Americans. I am sure that families of the dead Americans were not laughing at that.

I shake my head and I wonder where people’s minds are. Why are the American people more concerned about gender rights than the right of those men who were murdered to live? This is not an attack on LGBT rights. LGBT rights are important. No doubt about that should be inferred or implied. But when people are focused on the right to use a gender neutral bathroom and do not want to care about a man’s  right to live, priorities are messed up!

During the Presidential debates and in the media, Mr. Trump has been being crucified for his poor judegement. And I am not excusing Mr. Trump regarding his conversation with Billy Bush and some of his earlier comments. However, no one has called Hillary out for her lack of judgement which as resulted in the deaths of Americans, the lack of judgement of accepting money for the Clinton foundation from Islamic terrorists, for calling Americans “deplorables”, for personal email serves, for supporting abortion, etc…Need I cite more?

If you are voting for Hillary, please let me know your thoughts and why this is not an issue to you (is it?). I am honestly seeking to understand how Obama’s and Hillary’s making this a low priority (and in Hillary’s case, a joke) could not be an issue to you. If you know of someone who is voting for her, please ask him or her what they think and then post their response in the comments.

Proverbs 24:11 Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,”   does not he who  weighs the heart perceive it?   Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?

I asked my wife who is a Hillary supporter and she was not even aware that the Benghazi scandal was ongoing.

As go rights for gays, so go rights for Muslims. Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders will help us with that. Gays and Muslims unite!

In a world where people are more concerned about the Superman and Batman than about the lives of American citizens, there is a big problem!
