Devotional 12/30: Thank You!

Wow, hard to believe that it has been one year. In order to close out the year, I want to thank several people who have been instrumental in getting us this far.

First, of course, I want to thank God. I am thankful that as long as we put the Lord first in whatever endeavor, we are doing the right thing. I know that I wrote about when to quit things in a devotional entitled, “Enough is Enough!”But we are not to the end yet, thankfully. We are actually starting to make some money! I also thank God for the United States and that I am an American. I am thankful that I was born in a country that does not have a state religion or a theocracy.  I am thankful that the  people who founded the country held to Judeo-Christian values of faith, family, and freedom, even when they defined those beliefs differently. I am thankful that Jefferson, Washington, Madison, and others prayed about our nation.

I am thankful for JD Vincent. When I met him at Starbucks the first time, I was impressed with his open mind and his willingness to be a part of this project. I am so thankful for his hard work on the photoshoots and the articles and in his general advice on the marketing and general running of the magazine.

I am thankful for Jim Riordan. I am thankful for his insights from his experiences at Rolling Stone and other magazines. His weekly blogs and his interviews have gotten the most hits and he has also helped so much with proofing and reading others articles.

Of course, I am also thankful for all those who shared their stories with us:

BILL MYERS

GREG C. TAYLOR

COLEMAN LUCK

TOM CANALE

MICAHEL O. SAJBEL

NATHAN MURRY

LARRY SASSOROSI

JOYO SAYSON

and WILLIAM BELL

The reason we have interviewed these people is encourage you to make decisions based on those values as well. We realize that most of our decisions to value faith and family and freedom are  made in private and in the quietness of our hearts, without an audience or even anyone recognizing. We honor that! We honor your acts and decisions based on Judeo-Christian values of faith, family, and freedom! If you have a relationship with God, and live your life accordingly, then you are guaranteed a much higher honor and reward!

THAT IS WHY, MORE THAN ANY PERSON, WE THANK YOU!

Stick around, the best is yet to come!

Amen and Shalom!
